http://www.cleveland.com/cudell/index.ssf?/community/more/cudell/index.html "The neighborhood was named for turn-of-the-century architect and German immigrant Frank E. Cudell, who would bequeath his villa at Detroit and West Boulevard to the city. In 1939, the place was transformed into the Cudell Fine Arts Center, said to be the only municipally owned fine arts center in the country. The Center offers classes in pottery, painting, airbrushing, print making and other fine arts.
